When Derek and I took over The Boardwalk in late 2022, we were very excited to be able to bring live music back to this historic venue. We also saw the potential of The Boardwalk to fulfill a core value of ours: giving back and being a part of the community that supports us.
If people, and their pets, don’t have enough food, proper shelter, and a feeling of belonging and mattering, they cannot thrive.

GUITAR AUCTION - October 2022
During our Grand Opening, we auctioned off a guitar signed by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Yunger, and Self Continuum and raised almost $3,000 for the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Foodbank.

The Sacramento music community got together December 11th to remember Bonnie Christeen Calhoon and raise money to support her family.
ROCKIN' FOR TOTS - December 2022
Over 35 musicians from area bands got together December 18th to support Toys 4 Tots. The Marines collected over 1,000 toys and received a donation of over $1,800. Photos by Kevin Graft.
